Sea Kayaks

We will set you up in the best area for paddling, then the waters and coastline of Kaikoura, which are jam-packed full of marine life, are yours to enjoy!
We offer both full and half day kayak hire - so you explore Kaikoura at your own pace.
Our kayaks and gear are the best money can buy to make your trip more comfortable.
Freedom Hire is ideal for two or more water confident people with kayaking experience. If you haven't paddled before, join a seal kayaking trip to cover the basics and take the hassle factor out of learning.

Note: We do not hire SEA KAYAKS to children under 14 years, or solo paddlers or to those with no experience.
