Kayak School

If you're new to the sport of sea kayaking, or want to improve on the skills you have already, our Kayak School will get you up to speed.

The Kayak School is designed to take you from paddling a sea kayak for the first time, working through the proficiency award, right up to training for the SKOANZ (Sea Kayak Operators Association of New Zealand) Guides Qualification.

Instructors hold the NZOIA / SKOANZ Sea Kayak Instructor qualification & have an extensive knowledge of sea kayaking, having trained themselves along the same pathway.

Introduction to Sea Kayaking (Skills Course)                    Kayak Rescue Kayak Rolling Kayak Surfing Weather and Navigation, Multi Day Kayaking SKOANZ Pre-course

$185.00 per day for two paddlers or more.
$225.00 per day for One on One instruction.

Kayaks, paddling gear, pool hire, DVD lesson and shuttle rides all included.
